Working more fluidly now than when I began this Series, I've reduced the blending of tones and allowed more of the wet undercoat to come through giving this piece more vibrancy than with previous attempts. The scene is from a visit to the Bahamas on the northern coast of Nassau. SOLD

Another late evening in Prospect, NS. This is a rare breakaway piece in my beach-house series gambling with traditional plein-air landscape. Working only with the palette knife I try to develop rich points of color and capture a nostalgic feel for this familiar cove. SOLD

These rocks are on the coast of Nova Scotia where I live and go for miles. Working only with the palette knife, I'm trying to capture the feel of the ocean on a sunny day by using a bright yellow undertone. SOLD
